RULES AND REGULATIONS

• Judging criteria will be based on originality/creativity, technical ability/artistic skill demonstrated, interpretation of theme.

• Entries are $5 per canvas/piece.

• Each contestant may enter 1 piece per category for a total of 2 photos.

• Contestants must pre-register online.

• Deadline to enter is Saturday January 28, 2023.

• All art must be delivered to the BHS Football Field between 9am-12n on February 25, 2023. 

• All entries MUST include a small easel for display. If no easel is included the entry will lay flat for display.

• Judging will take place on the day of the Festival.

• Judging will be blind judging. Art with watermarks or signatures will not be accepted due to this. You may mark your art after judging is completed.

• Entries must be minimum 8x10 and maximum 11x14

• Entries can be created on any surface/material as long as it meets the above sizing requirements.

• All art must be suitable for family viewing. The board has the right to eliminate any sensitive subject matter.

• There are no refunds.

• By entering this contest you agree that all entries are your own and you accept full copyright responsibility for each entry. Violations of US copyright law can carry fines up to $50,000 and up to 10 years in prison.

• Pro means you make money from your art. 

• Winners will be selected and announced at Florida River Fest on Saturday February 25, 2023.

• First, Second, & Third ribbons will be awarded for each category in each age division. 

• First place winners from each category will compete for Best of the Fest. (overall winner)

• Contestants and winners must leave their art and ribbons on display throughout the entirety of the festival.

• You may pick up your entries and ribbons after 6pm on the day of the festival. 

• All artwork not picked up between 6-8pm on the night of River Fest will be disposed of.
